The below job description will outline this position of: Composite Technician
Typically, this person will manufacture high-quality composite components using a range of advanced techniques, ensuring all products meet strict quality, dimensional, and cosmetic standards within a precision-driven environment.

Duties and responsibilities of the Composite Technician:
Manufacture composite components using hand lay-up, resin infusion, and pre-preg techniques
Prepare plugs and moulds, including lay-up of dry fibre reinforcements, consumables, and vacuum systems
Interpret and work from engineering drawings, laminate schedules, and work instructions
Ensure all components meet quality, dimensional, and cosmetic standards for key customers within Aerospace and Wind Energy sectors
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
Identify and resolve process or quality issues proactively within a project-based environment
Qualifications and requirements for the Composite Technician:
Proven experience as a Composite Technician, with a strong focus on infusion processes and advanced composite manufacturing methods
Good understanding of composite materials including carbon fibre, glass fibre, resins, and core materials
Experience with vacuum systems, leak detection, and process control
Ability to work accurately, consistently, and to tight tolerances
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Experience in aerospace, marine, automotive, or motorsport composites (desirable)
Knowledge of health & safety standards relating to composite manufacturing (desirable)
Experience with tooling, mould preparation, and finishing processes (desirable)
Experience with electrical installation (desirable)
Minimum 3 years experience in a composite-related role preferred
