Specialist Marine Consultants Ltd (SMC) was established in 2006 and has since become a market leader in the energy industry.
Providing highly skilled and experienced personnel to the energy industry; which includes Marine Coordinators, HSEQ Advisors, Client Representatives, Technicians, Offshore Construction Managers, Riggers, Heavy Lift Supervisors, Fisheries Liaison Officers and general Marine Consultancy and planning within oil and gas exploration and renewable energy sectors.
SMC also provides Vessel Inspections on all types of offshore construction vessels. Our AVI accredited vessel inspectors provide an extensive range of surveys and inspections to the global market; having provided over 1,500 inspections worldwide since 2006. We recognise the importance of a vessel being safe and compliant. With our large pool of AVI inspectors we can respond globally at short notice to meet your needs. All SMC inspectors are AVI accredited and experienced in the use of eCMID.
