Overview:

A leading Irish Civil Engineering Contractor focused on renewables and energy projects is seeking a Junior Site Engineer to join their expanding team delivering projects across Ireland and Mainland Europe. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in solar, wind, and battery storage developments while working alongside experienced engineers on high-profile projects, you’ll receive mentorship and opportunities for advancement within the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with setting out, surveying, and site measurements using GPS and Total Station.
• Support the installation and construction of renewable energy systems including solar farms, wind energy, and grid infrastructure.
• Monitor and record site progress, quality, and compliance with technical drawings and specifications.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation such as inspection reports and as-built records.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
• 0–2 years of experience in construction or engineering in Ireland (graduates will suit to).
• Experience with Total Station and GPS equipment advantageous.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel.

The Package:

The salary will be DOE, but you can expect somewhere from €45,000 - €50,000 as well as travel allowances, training, and professional development support.
